Trial and Purchase

At the moment the free version of the app can be used for unlimited time.
The development process is time and cost intensive. Because of that a small fee for the activation of additional packages is charged. The developer is working every day on the improvement of the app and answers support requests from users within 24h.

Package "All features": This activation releases all restrictions when accessing one hue bridge.

Package "Up to 5 hue bridges": This extension allows to access up to 5 hue bridges. In order to use all features for up to 5 hue bridges, the activation "all features" has also to be purchased.

The activated packages of the app can be used on several devices, as long as the same Google resp. Apple ID account is used.
Sometimes it needs some time until the purchases are recongized on another device. Please go into the section "Activations" in the app. In the iOS version of the app please select "Restore purchases". In the Android version the recovery should work automatically.

A refund is due to the following reasons not possible:

(1) A free version is available to test the app as long as required. The activation of additional packages is recommended only after an intense evaluation. Users can be sure to not buy "a pig in a poke". Please consider also, that for most of the other hue apps the users have to pay just to download the apps.

(2) Unfortunately there is a significant number of users, who would take advantage of a refund. They would fully configure their hue bridge with the app and ask for a refund afterwards.

With the free version of the app a limited number of timers, alarms and rules can be created. If there are already more resources stored on the hue bridge, no more resources can be created with the free version. Instead of creating new timers, alarms and rules please edit exiting resources to test the behavior of the app.

A change of the limitation concept is technically not possible, otherwise the limitations of the free version can be bypassed by reinstalling the app. Unfortunately there is a significant number of users, who would do this.
